Who Can Play JLB Soccer ?

Any child with a disability including but not limited to: A.D.D., Autism, Hearing Impaired, Sight Impaired, Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, Cystic Fibrosis, Downs Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Seizure Disorder and Spinal bifida.

The success rate of meeting individual needs in a group setting can be partially determined by who is in the group with your child, and the ratio of volunteers to players. We will try out best to meet all children’s social, emotional, and soccer needs.

Where is JLB Top Soccer Located?

Top Soccer is located and the fantastic Addison-Penzak Jewish Community Center, 14855 Oka Road, Los Gatos. A secure, modern and family focused environment for all cultures, ages and parts of the community, with a great staff and service to the community. JLB Top Soccer is part of the JCC's Soccer partnership with LFC IAA Bay Area as both organizations strive to provide soccer to any child wanting to play :-)

What are Buddies?

JLB TOPSoccer Buddies are invaluable volunteers who participate directly with individual players or help facilitate a group soccer environment in order to enable our athletes to be safe and have fun while they participate in soccer activities and games. Each session Buddies are either assigned to individual players , assigned to run a station, or assigned to float and assist as needed. All are expected to cheer and be willing to be animated and helpful. Buddies that are assigned to individual players for a session and are tasked to stay "tuned-in" to their player, to keep their player motivated and active. They provide encouragment and facilitate social interaction with peers and other Buddies.

Who can be a Buddy?

We recommend that all Buddies be at least 12 years of age. The JLB TOPSoccer Buddy is not a player in our program, but many do play as their player's partner, and can sometimes play as careful opposition. Buddies can be skilled soccer players, or have no soccer experience.
